Through our own proprietary software, Caption Colorado offers full service
captioning on the Internet that is compatible with all video, audio and text
streaming player formats and other possible applications for streaming on the
Web. The captioning is error-free, time-coded for synchronization with the
audio and is presented in an attractive captioning window that allows the
viewer to select personally pleasing font type, size and color, and background
color. Alternative languages can also be added as an option for the viewer.
Caption Colorado provides real-time transcription and captioning of speakers and
presentations at annual, quarterly and other financial meetings of public
reporting companies. The transcription is streamed live to the Internet.
Immediately following the event, the full real-time transcript is edited to
99.5% accuracy and placed on the customer's website for public or limited
authorized access. Precise synchronization of the captioning text to the audio
presentation is optional.
This service is intended to help the public reporting companies comply with SEC
Regulations requiring quick, accurate and broad dissemination of financial
information when released to the public. The service is also of value to the
investment banking industry, and those who serve it, to secure timely and
accurate financial information in which broker-employees and customers have an
interest.
Caption Colorado offers real-time captioning for a variety of live online
learning applications. In a live interactive classroom setting on the internet
our technology allows professors and students to engage in a live audio
conversation online, while our captioners transcribe and stream the lecture and
discussion to an Internet presentation accompanying the online learning
conference facility.
An up-to-the-minute near-verbatim transcript of the lecture and discussion is
available to all of the students and the professor at all times. A live
transcript can help students review what has been said so far in class and can
help the student understand the professor's message or formulate questions. A
full transcript of the lecture is available immediately after the class for
students to print and use for subsequent study and test preparation.
Pre-recorded audio or video used in the professor's presentation can also be
captioned, and fully synchronized with the audio, before the lecture is
presented in class.
Captioned oral presentations are statistically proven to result in better
learning and retention rates for students than traditional oral lectures alone.
Captioning your live synchronous online learning program could result in better
education value and will increase the market for your courses by making them
accessible to deaf and hard-of-hearing students.
Caption Colorado can provide real-time captioning as an add-on service to a
teleconference call. Users of the service only need a computer with an Internet
connection. Instant access to a written transcript of the conversation results
in clearer and more effective communication, leaving little room for confusion.
All parties can access the transcript during the call for clarification or for
recalling what was said earlier. Immediately after completion of the call,
participants may receive a printable version of the complete transcript.
Caption Colorado can edit, time-code and synchronize the text with the audio
after the teleconference to produce a perfect archivable record of the
discussion. The service is especially useful with International conference
calls where English is a second language for some participants. We can even
offer real-time second language translation as well by delivering two streams of
text to the internet in two different languages accessible by all participants.
In order to make regular teleconferencing accessible to the deaf community and
to provide them with a voice to participate, Caption Colorado offers real-time
streamed captioning via the Internet of teleconferences that involves one or
more TTY users. This service may be used in conjunction with TTY operators for
Voice Relay or our captioner will provide the Voice Relay in addition to the
captioning. We use our own proprietary text streaming software technology for
the service, which has a special communication center that allows the TTY user
to communicate, by computer keyboard, directly with our captioner. When the TTY
user wants to speak to the other participants in the teleconference, they send
their communication to our captioner, who, in turn, relays the communication on
to the other participants by voice.
