Caption Colorado's mission is to be the preferred provider of real-time closed captioning services in the United States and to bring the world of information and entertainment to the deaf and hard-of-hearing in the highest possible quality format.
The purpose and ultimate goal of Caption Colorado's Quality Assurance Program is to assure for our customers the highest quality captioning and service.
Basic Components of our
Quality Assurance Program
The quality of our captioning is a direct result of the quality
of work performed by our captioners. Therefore, the cornerstone
of our Quality Assurance Program is reflected in the following
five components of a plan designed to aid, support and encourage
our captioners in providing the highest quality captioning and
service for our customers.
- Clearly specified Quality and Performance Standards for captioners
- Clearly specified Company Captioning Procedures and Policies
- Training, Mentoring and Support System
- Standard and special training for all captioners as needed
- Forum for sharing of captioning ideas and tips
- Customer Support Guide available for advice and for answering questions
- Monitoring and Quality Review Program to continually assess the quality and consistency of captioning and to provide specific constructive suggestions to captioners
- Reward and Incentives Program
